Working Principle
1. Feeding
The roll filter paper is installed onto the feeding shaft, fixed by the cone holder, and lifted by the swing arm for feeding.
2. Cutting
Adjust the cutting knife spacing according to the filter element width. The filter paper is divided into several equal sections while remaining connected.
3. Humidification
The filter paper passes through the heating humidification unit to improve flexibility and prevent cracking during embossing.
4. Embossing
The filter paper passes through the embossing rollers. By adjusting roller pressure, suitable embossing depth is created.
5. Dot Marking and Counting
The machine automatically marks dots according to the preset fold number for convenient later cutting.
6. Wave Forming
Adjust the spacing between upper and lower wave forming pins according to the fold height. The filter paper is shaped into a wave structure.
7. Heating Shaping
The folded filter element passes through the heating cover and is shaped under high temperature.
8. Output
The finished filter element is discharged through the conveyor system.
Installation Precautions
Install the machine on a flat, clean, and well-ventilated floor, avoiding high-temperature dust environments.
Keep more than 1 meter distance from walls on both sides and more than 1.5 meters at the front and rear.
Use a forklift with a load capacity above 1 ton for transportation.
Connect and fix front and rear machines, keep the same centerline, and calibrate the level.
Power supply: 380V/50Hz, with independent grounding.
Air supply pressure: 0.6MPa.
Check cables, emergency stop buttons, and safety protection doors before operation.

1: How can I prevent filter paper from being crushed during embossing?
A: Ensure the heating humidification system works properly (water tank heating and sufficient steam supply) to improve filter paper flexibility. At the same time, adjust the gap between the upper and lower embossing rollers properly. (Turn the adjustment bolt clockwise to reduce pressure.)
Q2: What should I do if the cutting edge is rough or filter paper sticks together?
A: Possible causes:
① Cutting blade is not sharp → sharpen or replace the blade.
② Cutting knife air pressure is insufficient → increase air pressure.
③ Blade is not properly fixed → tighten the bolts.
Always turn off the cutting knife air supply before adjustment.
Q3: Why is the filter element end surface uneven after wave forming?
A: Usually caused by asymmetry between the upper and lower embossing roller blades. Adjust the clearance between the upper and lower embossing roller gears to correct it.
Q4: How to solve paper deviation during wave forming?
A: First check whether the gap between the upper and lower wave forming rollers is even (adjust the bolts on both sides). If the problem continues, check the previous process, such as whether the paper feeding through the embossing rollers is deviating.

A: After wave forming, the filter element passes through the adjustable high-temperature heating cover. The heat helps hot melt adhesive or the filter paper itself to set, preventing rebound and deformation while ensuring flat end surfaces.
Q6: What should be done when replacing embossing rollers with different diameters?
A: The chain wheel 7 (2 minutes) and chain wheel 9 (4 minutes) must be replaced simultaneously because different roller diameters have different speed ratios.
