A Full-Auto Hot Melt Filter Paper Bonding Machine is an automated device for hot melt adhesive bonding of end caps on long filter cartridges (up to 1000mm). It consists of a dispensing head mechanism, a conveying mechanism (double synchronous belts + flat belt), a hot melt adhesive machine, and an infrared monitoring system. During operation, the filter cartridge is inserted into the inlet, detected by the infrared sensor, and released by the positioning cylinder. The filter cartridge enters the dispensing station, the dispensing head automatically dispenses adhesive, and the synchronous belts pressurize and convey it backward. The finished product falls onto the flat belt for output. It is suitable for high-volume production of long filter cartridge bonding.

and melted at high temperature, then accurately dispensed onto the filter element joint through the glue nozzle.
The synchronous belts apply pressure to clamp and bond the joint while simultaneously transporting the finished product backward. The bonded filter element is finally discharged through the flat belt conveyor.
1. Loading Preparation
Place the Full-Auto Hot Melt Filter Paper Bonding Machine with the joint facing upward into the gap between the left and right guide plates. Align the opening center with the guide block. The next filter element can be placed between the upper and lower guide plates to prevent falling.
2. Manual Feeding
Push the filter element forward slightly until the positioning cylinder infrared sensor detects the product.
3. Automatic Release
The positioning cylinder retracts and allows the filter element to enter the glue dispensing station.
4. Adhesive Dispensing
When the glue dispensing infrared sensor detects the correct position, the solenoid valve opens and the dispensing head applies adhesive.
5. Pressing and Conveying
The synchronous belts move the filter element out of the glue station while pressing and securing the bonded joint.
6. Intermittent Conveying
The synchronous belts transport filter elements intermittently. After a certain quantity accumulates, the products drop onto the flat belt conveyor.
7. Finished Product Output
The flat belt conveyor transfers finished filter elements outside the machine.

The height and horizontal position of the glue head can be quickly adjusted through hand wheels and adjustment bolts.
6. Easy Synchronous Belt Tension Adjustment
Independent hand wheels on both sides allow quick adjustment of belt tension, ensuring uniform pressing force and reliable bonding quality.
7. Guide Plates Prevent Filter Falling
The four guide plates and guide blocks at the entrance ensure smooth feeding and prevent filter elements from tilting or falling.

Install the machine on a flat, clean, and well-ventilated floor away from high-temperature dust environments.
Keep more than 1 meter clearance from both sides and more than 1.5 meters clearance at the front and rear.
Use a forklift with a capacity above 1 ton for transportation.
Fix the machine and adjust the level properly.
Connect 220V/50Hz power supply with independent grounding.
Required air pressure: 0.6MPa.

Q1: Why is the filter bonding not strong enough?
A: Common reasons include:
Insufficient glue volume → Increase adhesive output.
Conveyor speed too fast → Reduce the main motor speed.
Synchronous belt too loose → Adjust belt tension.
Q2: Can the machine bond filter elements longer than 1000mm?
A: The standard model supports a maximum length of 1000mm. Customized extended machine bodies and longer conveyors are available for special requirements.
Q3: What should I do if the filter element gets stuck or falls?
A: Check whether the entrance guide plates are deformed, the guide block is properly aligned, and the synchronous belt tension is correct. Adjust according to the operation manual.
Q4: How long does the hot melt adhesive system need to preheat?
A: It usually takes about 15–20 minutes to reach the preset temperature (normally 150–180°C depending on adhesive type). Heating before each production shift is recommended.
